Your first assignment is to create an image that is inspired by this one.
Steps: Take a portrait photo. If you want it to be of you make a selfie. Try to create high contrast to be able to identify the shadow areas. Colour them with a dark colour. This image uses a blue or purple. Decide what object you would like to have exploding around your image like hair. Remember to use layers to help you create your image.
