to choose an artist to focus on for this study. Record the artist name and three interesting facts about the artist.

2.    Search that artists name to find a piece of artwork that they did. Save the artwork to your camera roll and insert the artwork into pages. Record the artworks title, year it was made and mediums used to create it. Please refrain from reading any content about what the artwork means.

3.    Decode the artwork you chose in question #2.

Ø  Jump in- Record what you see on the top, bottom and sides of the painting. Look further into the foreground and background.

Ø  Take a Walk- Record what you see as the subject matter, colour, style, texture, space, balance, contrast, emphasis, etc.

Ø  Think- Record what you think is the meaning of this artwork.
