GA 20/30 Found It

GA 20/30 Find the Object Book

Hand in Items:
2 pages for the book
self reflection

Guidelines:
This assignment is a collaborative project for the whole class. Each of you is responsible for creating 2 pages worth of content in our book. One page is a "find these objects" with the image and name of 10 objects listed. The other page is a doodle that has the 10 objects within a full page doodle. You must have a parent consent form filled out and returned to be published in the book. You will find the consent form below.

Parameters
The pages are square. You may hand draw your doodle or generate it on the computer. Once you have drawn the black outline, you must colour it digitally.

Photoshop info
Size 10 inches by 10 inches with a resolution of 150. The document should be set to RGB colour.

Instructions
Create the black and white doodle. Make sure that your black doodle is appealing. There should be a variety of line thickness and style incorporated in your overall design. Your design should be balanced and allow your eye to move around our whole doodle. ALL OBJECTS IN YOUR DOODLE MUST BE ORIGINAL CONTENT! Any doodles with copyrighted images in them cannot be published.

Once your black and white doodle is complete have Mr. Sand look over your design to suggest improvements and to check for copyright issues.

Colour your doodle in Photoshop and create your find these 10 images page. All objects must be complete object designs on this page. So if part of your object is cut off by an overlapping image in our doodle you must have the entire image drawn for the fin it page.

When you have completed both pages post your work to your blog and email Mr. Sand jsand@gscs.sk.ca to have you work marked.

You will also need to submit the original photoshop pages and a jpeg of each page to Mr. Sand to have your content added to the book for publishing.

Here is a video on doodling. It shows a nice progression of the doodle.
